(From Parker Mortuary)Merle Leon Palmer, age 80, of Webb City, formerly of Joplin, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at Webb City Health and Rehab following a long illness.
Merle was born November 2, 1941 in Joplin to Robert and Marjorie (George) Palmer.
He was a talented builder and could build just about anything. Merle was also skilled in electrical work. In his earlier years, he worked for Joplin Supply Company and Bob Johnson Construction. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Merle was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his siblings, Kathryn Watkins, Wayne “Butch” Palmer, Robert “Pudge” Palmer, and Sterling Palmer; two daughters; as well as a host of extended family.
