(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)Norma June Gentry, 87, of Monett was called home to Heaven on Sunday November 7, 2021. She was born on February 22, 1934 in Blue Eye, Arkansas; the daughter of the late Charles and Lottie (Funk) Bailey. She was united in marriage in Harrison, Arkansas on February 29, 1984 to Dale Gentry; he survives.
She was a home maker and a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Monett, Missouri.
Norma is survived by her husband Dale of the home; one son: Danny Muench of Carthage, Missouri, two sisters: Betty Burk of Springfield, Missouri and Bonnie Ellis of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Lottie and her first husband William Muench in 1965.
Visitation for Norma is being held on Wednesday November 17, 2021 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri. Graveside services are being held on Thursday November 18, 2021 at 2:00p.m. at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora, Missouri.
Memorial donations for Norma may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
