Arlene Morgan

Mrs. Veda Arlene Morgan, 84, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday evening, February 25, 2017, at Freeman Hospital in Neosho, Missouri, after a brief illness.

Arlene entered this life on August 2, 1932, in Anderson, Missouri, born to the union of the late John and Zelma (Landon) Robbins. She was a lifelong area resident and a 1951 graduate of Anderson High School. She worked in the mobile home manufacturing industry for several years, working for Taylor Homes, Sundance and Ponderosa before retiring. She enjoyed reading, working jigsaw puzzles and being a grandma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Keith and George Robbins; and two grandchildren, Christian Lee Robbins and Brandi Dawn Rooks.

Arlene is survived by one sister, Gloria Gibson and husband, Gerald “Gib”, of Anderson; four children, Connie Rooks of Anderson, Kevin Robbins and wife, Yon Cha, of New Iberia, Louisiana, Valerie Meador and husband, Shannon, of Wyandotte, Oklahoma and Tina Stouder and husband, Gene, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; two stepsons, Perry Morgan of Anderson and Tommy Morgan and wife, Rhonda, of Racine, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Morgan are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor David Munoz officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Cemetery. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Jaysten Platt, Jonathan Rooks, Johnny Robbins, Eugene Wilson, Jacob Robbins and Rolando Sajid.
