Mrs. Camilla Mae Anderson, 54, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, in the comfort of her home after a two year battle with cancer.
Camilla entered this life on June 11, 1962, in Cassville, Missouri, the only child born to the union of Melvin and Oleta (Epperson) Bond. She was a lifelong area resident and a 1980 graduate of McDonald County High School. She was employed by Simmons Foods for twenty-three years, retiring in January of 2016. She enjoyed caring for her family, cooking and being outdoors. She attended worship services at New Bethel Church in Anderson.
Her mother, Oleta Bond preceded her in death.
On April 11, 2011, she was united in marriage to Richard Anderson and he survives of the home. Additional survivors include her two sons, Jeff Ledford and wife, Lori, of Anderson and Brian Ledford and wife, Kesha, of Galena, Missouri; two stepchildren, Ryan Brown of Portland, Oregon and Erika Powell and husband, Travis, of Centerton, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; her father, Melvin Bond of Anderson; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held graveside on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at New Bethel Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri with Bro. Bob Wilson officiating. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Travis Powell, A.J. Bedell, Nick Butts, Jody Bond, Nick Smythia and Kelly Williams. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes.
