Nadine Landon

Martha Nadine Landon passed from this life on February 19, 2017. 

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she leaves behind a family blessed with her love. Nadine was born on October 20, 1930 to Sanders and Edna Mobra who preceded her in death. As a long time school teacher, mostly in Grove, Oklahoma, Nadine touched the lives of many individuals other than family throughout her 86 years. She delighted in her flowers of all kinds with a special fondness for Iris. No one ever left her kitchen hungry. It was quite common for family members to call to remind her when favorite teams were playing, or the PBR was about come on t.v. On many occasions you could find her in the stands watching, keeping score, and cheering for J.E.'s teams, her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as they participated in sports or various other activities. Granny Na was their biggest fan.

She was born in Wyandotte, Oklahoma on October 20, 1930 to Sanders and Edna Mobra who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Woodrow, Frank, and Joe Mobra, and sister Ruth Derwin. Nadine is survived by her husband J.E., daughters Karen and husband Mike Grimmett of Seneca, Mo, and Donna Landon of Chelsea, Oklahoma, grandchildren Gary Grimmett, Clint Grimmett and wife Bethany, Kacie Thomas and her husband Chad, as well as great-grandchildren Lillian, Caleb, and Hannah Grimmett, and Landon and Lincoln Thomas.

Graveside funeral services for Nadine will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the New Bethel Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri. Jason Dill and Pastor Jared Proctor will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark funeral homes. The family will receive friends at this time.
