Frank Theodore Evers, 85, Neosho, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2017 at the Granby House.
He was born June 30, 1931 in Meta, Missouri the son of Joseph and Catherine (Herigon) Evers. Frank served in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 26 years of service. He moved to Neosho in 1978 from Omaha, Nebraska and had been the owner and operator of Frank’s Hydrostatic Testing. He was a member of St. Canera Catholic Church.
Frank married Marilyn Spieker on September 18, 1954 in Jefferson City, Missouri and she preceded him in death on July 10, 2007. He is survived by four children, Paul Evers of Terrell, TX, Mark Evers of Scurry, TX, Pamela Ragan of Eldorado Springs, MO and Diana Hamilton of Neosho, MO; one brother, Joseph Evers of Jefferson City, MO; one sister, Marie Barnett of Valley Park, MO; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and dear friend, Lois Nycz of Neosho, MO. In addition to his wife, Frank is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Canera Catholic Church with Rev. Derek Swanson, C.M. officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield. Contributions in memory of Frank may be made to St. Canera Catholic Church, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O.
