David Darrell Neal, age 38, of transitioned to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 1, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Carthage, Mo., following a sudden illness.
David was born on June 4, 1979 in Bay Shore, NY. He has been a resident of Joplin for the past seven years. He worked for Americold as a forklift operator. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Valerie and Stafford Griffin; two brothers, Stafford Griffin, Jr. and Rahman A. Griffin, both of Joplin; and four sisters, Lashanda Griffin, Amityville, NY, Sakina Neal, of North Carolina, Natasha Griffin, Huntington, NY, and Sharisa Griffin, Bay Shore, NY.
A Memorial visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary. Funeral services will be held in Bay Shore, NY at Good Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
