Barbara Hitt

Barbara Kay Hitt, 79, of Pineville Missouri died Sunday afternoon at 2:07 p.m. after a long battle with an undefined neurological muscular illness.

She is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Kay Layton Floyd a son Donald Matthew Hitt and a great grandson Riley Owen Hitt.

She is survived by her husband Donald Owen Hitt; two sons, Michael Owen Hitt, his wife Cheryl and Mark Leighton Hitt and his wife Jana; four grandsons, Ryan, his wife Soraya, Cory, Luke, his wife Brooke and Matt, his wife Stephanie; one granddaughter, Mindi; four great-grandsons, Easton Jayce, Caden and Abel and four granddaughters, Katy, Bekah, Halley and Allie. Barbra loved spending time with family and friends and having Bible studies with her beloved husband Don. She has shown us all how to maintain faith in a mighty loving God in the midst of great pain and suffering. She hated to leave us, but was relieved for her journey to be over because of the hope she had in her savior Jesus, our Messiah.

Memorial services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017, at the Splitlog Baptist Church. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website, www.ozarkfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
