Mabel Hibdon, age 103, of Joplin, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017.
She was born August 19, 1913 in Eldon, Missouri to Elisha Jobe and Stella Hutchison Jobe. Mrs. Hibdon was a homemaker and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Webb City. She was preceded in death by her husband Lemuel Hibdon on December 6, 1977.
Survivors include a son Richard Hibdon of Joplin, daughters Renee Fisher and husband Bob of Webb City and Joy Corff of Joplin; a sister Ruth Welch of Eugene, Oregon; 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 PM at the Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City with Rev. Scott Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
