Teresa D. Long age 53, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
She was born on January 5, 1964 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Donald LaRue and Sharon (Bledsoe) LaRue. Teresa was a nurse's aide for Oxford Healthcare. She loved her job and the people she was able to care for, her kids and grandkids were her life. Teresa loved to bake elaborate birthday cakes for them, have family gatherings, to garden and do just about anything that would let her be in the outdoors.
She is survived by her parents; her son, Donny McDowell and wife Sarah; daughter, Stephanie Hardee and husband Glen; son, Dustin Eastin and wife Alana; grandchildren, Trenton, Emma, Rylee, Brayden, Hailey, Alyssa, Emily, Sophie, Glen, Roxanne, Nora, Delylah, and Cecily; her sisters, Tamara Watkins and husband James, Kimberly Pruitt and husband Mike, Becky Fetters and husband Donnie; her grandmother, Peggy Bledsoe.
The family will have a celebration of life at Destiny Church in Joplin at 6:30 PM on Friday, February 17, 2017.
