Wynonia Lucille Beatty, age 87, Carl Junction, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at her home.
She was born April 8, 1929 in Spurgeon, MO to the late John Edmond Lawson and Ione Lawson.
She worked as office manager at South Town Meat Company for fifteen years.
She Married Wilbur "Red" Beatty on September 20, 1948 in Bentonville, AR. He survives at the home.
Additional survivors include a son, Kevin Beatty and wife, Antonette, Carl Junction; three grandsons, Mathew, Christopher and Joseph Beatty, all of Carl Junction: two sisters, Treva Lemmon and husband, Jack, and Loretta Tatum, all of Joplin; and one brother, Frances Lawson and wife Peggy, Miami, OK.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ted and Russell Lawson.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 4 at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 820 S. Howard, Carthage. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 3 at 6:30 p.m. at Fir Road Christian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice, in care of Parker Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
