Doris Mason, age 94, Pierce City, Missouri, passed away at 6:55 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 at her home after an illness.
Doris was born December 9, 1922 in Joplin to the late Arthur R. Trease and Nova Gertrude White Trease and had lived in Joplin most of her life until moving to Pierce City.
She worked as a seamstress at the former Miller Manufacturing in Joplin for 35 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the RLDS church.
Doris married Joseph Mason on September 26, 1945 in Joplin. He preceded her in death on March 11, 1977.
Survivors include two granddaughters; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
