Mary Caywood

Mrs. Mary Ruth Caywood, 74, of Pineville, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas, after a long illness.

Mary entered this life on October 14, 1942, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to the union of the late H.O. and Elsie Louise (Hoover) Pritchett. Her formative years were spent in Texarkana, Arkansas. She graduated from Rogers State College in Claremore, Oklahoma, with her paralegal degree. The majority of her life was spent in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area where she worked for McDonnell-Douglas and Claremore Abstract. In 2003, she and her husband moved to Pineville, Missouri. She enjoyed crocheting, bird watching, fishing and spending countless hours with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter in-law, Melanie Hickerson.

On May 22, 1991, she was united in marriage to Michael Caywood and he survives of the home. Additional survivors include her four children, Wayne Hickerson of Texarkana, Arkansas, Carol Goode of Fair Borne, Ohio, Raymond Hickerson and wife, Dana, of Bixby, Oklahoma and Gina Wills and husband, Chris, of Catoosa, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; four sisters, Gina Murray of Pine Forest, Texas, Melva McClenny of Lindale, Texas, Hollis Pritchett of Rowlett, Texas and Rebecca Urias of Barling, Arkansas; two brothers, James Pritchett of Neosho, Missouri and Jerry Pritchett of Sulphur Bluff, Texas; her mother and father in-law, Hope and Larry Caywood of Pineville, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Caywood are 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2017, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Mark Young and Chris Wills officiating. Burial will follow in the Pineville Cemetery. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Brent Hickerson, Brad Burdette, Jeff Murray, Ethan Krager, Rodney Goode and Brady Goode. The family will receive friends on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorials are being directed to the Pineville Cemetery Care Fund c/o the funeral home.
