Dean Harris

Carl “Dean” Harris, age 47, of Purdy, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 near Cassville, Missouri.

He was born July 24, 1973 in Aurora, Missouri, the son of Carl L. and Naomi Ruth (Loftis) Harris. On December 30, 2005 he was united in marriage to Evelyn Cooper, who survives. 

Also surviving are his parents Carl and Ruth Harris of Aurora, Missouri; two daughters, Deandra Harris and Christopher Banker of Seneca, Missouri and Janessa Sullivan of Cassville, Missouri; one sister, Carla Wilson of Aurora, Missouri; two nephews, Austin White and Michael Sutter, three nieces, Chelsey Hooker, Bridgette Sutter and Elizabeth “Suzy Q” Whiteley and one great nephew, Nathan Hooker.








Dean grew up and attended school in Aurora, Missouri. He was of the Baptist faith and attended church at Faith Family Church in Cassville, Missouri. He drove a truck for Longhorn Trucking of Lamar, Missouri and enjoyed tinkering with Ford Mustangs and woodworking. He loved his dogs and he especially loved his children.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents Richard and Mable Harris and Jewell Loftis.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 15, 2021 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jim Clay will conduct the services.
