Fred Cobb

Fred Cobb, age 87, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 8:15 a.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021, in the comfort of his home with his loving wife by his side. He was born May 22, 1934, in Dubach, Louisiana, the son of the late Houston and Ollie (Coleman) Cobb. 

On November 22, 1952, he married Wanda June Rainey in Carl Junction. 









Fred worked for Tamko Corporation in Carl Junction for 18 years and for Holden Industries in Neosho as a manager for 45 years. Family was everything to Fred and enjoyed his time with them. He also loved watching NASCAR, football, and old westerns. Fred could fix just about anything and enjoyed working on old cars. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of nearly 69 years, Wanda; two sons, Jimmy Cobb and Darrell Cobb and his wife Leslie, all of Neosho; one sister, Margaret Cane of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, David (Della) Cobb of Neosho, Mindy (Kevin) Adamson of Neosho and Shannon (Shawn) Sigler of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Denean Cobb of Neosho, Dalton (Victoria) Cobb of Neosho, Dylan Cobb of Neosho, Jimmy Joe Cobb of Neosho, Rachel Cobb of Monett; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and his faithful friend Olive.

In addition to his parents, an infant son Ronald and son Randy Cobb; daughter-in-law, Sheri; one sister, Francis, and four brothers, Forest, Dan, Earl, and Ricky, preceded him in death.

A funeral service under the direction of the Clark Funeral Home will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at the New Life Fellowship Church, with Mark Buzzard officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, in the Clark Chapel of Memories in Neosho.
