Levi Herrera

Mr. Levi Devin Herrera, 29, of Lincoln, Nebraska, departed this life on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at East Bryan Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, from complications of Covid-19.

Levi entered this life on November 5, 1991, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, born to Raul Herrera and Rachel Wilborn. He resided in Albert Lea, Minnesota, Hickory, North Carolina, Kearney, Nebraska and St. Paul, Minnesota before moving to Lincoln, Nebraska in 2014. He graduated high school in Kearney in the class of 2010. 








Levi was currently a student at South East Community College in Lincoln, pursuing a degree in medical assisting. He enjoyed soccer, playing his guitar and spending time with his many friends. Levi was of the Catholic faith.

Levi is survived by his parents, Raul Herrera and wife, Anabel, of Joplin and Rachel Rodriguez and husband, Roberto, of San Antonio, Texas; a son, Theo Herrera; five siblings, Yael and Zoe Herrera and Ignacio, Boaz and Isaac Rodriguez; his grandparents, Ricardo Herrera of Albert Lea, Minnesota and Tomas and Mary Alice Navarro of San Antonio; his girlfriend, Taylor Heili of Lincoln, Nebraska; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Webb City, Missouri, with Father Paco Gordillo officiating. Burial will be held privately at Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the church. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.
