(From Parker Mortuary)Carole Sue Coker, 72, of Oronogo, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021.
Carole was born January 13, 1949 to the late Samuel and Wilma (Lee) Coker. Carole grew up in Caney, Kansas, graduating from Caney Valley High School in 1967.
Carole proudly served as the City Clerk of Caney, Kansas. She retired after 40 years of service. Carole was a true caregiver with a heart of gold. She always placed others needs before her own and felt truly blessed that she was able to help care for others.
Carole loved to cook holiday meals for family, enjoyed spending time with her sister, and loved her fur babies, Mo, Archie, Toby, Zack, Dinky, Coco and James. She cherished all the memories created with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Carole was also preceded in death by her sister, Kathy DePriest and uncle, Marvin Lee
Carole is lovingly survived by her sister, Sandra Sullivan; brother, Gary Coker and wife, Doris; siblings, Cherryl Gist, Carolyn Hefner, Brenda Gaddy, Kelly Northweather; nieces, Sara Wright and wife, Courtney, Sherilyn Hoeltzel; nephews, Brad DePriest, Scooter Coker, Brad Baker; grandchildren, Dylan DePriest and Katie DePriest; great niece, Marleigh Wright; together with a host of extended family and friends including, Shawn McBride.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Caney, Kansas.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
