Reda Yeager

Reda F. Yeager age 80 of Webb City passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. 

She was born on May 9, 1936 in Goodland, Kansas to Fred Benoit and Irene (Martell) Benoit. Reda was a seamstress and inspector at Elder's Manufacturing and Big Smith for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Yeager-Keller of Carterville; son, Chris A. Yeager of Carterville; sister, Rosie Scott; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Reda was preceded in death by her daughters, Deborah L. Johnson, Cynthia Sue McCumber, and Patricia J. Lovejoy; along with her parents and several siblings. She loved spending time with her family and having the family barbecues almost every weekend. Reda will be remembered as a hard worker and very caring person. 

The family will have a celebration of life graveside service on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Mount Hope Cemetery in Webb City. After the service the family will have a gathering at 1252 West 9th in Joplin. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
