Sharon Kay Dale, age 68, Joplin, passed away at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at her home after an illness.
Sharon was born May 1, 1948 in Joplin to the late Jack Tucker and Ernestine Fort Tucker and had lived in Joplin all of her life.
She had worked as a truck driver but retired from Macy's Department Store after 22 years of service.
Sharon married Lawrence R. Dale on April 21, 1979 in Alexandria, Louisiana. He preceded her in death on April 3, 2004.
Survivors include her children, John Newberry and Kerri Delaney, both of the State of Florida, Michael Newberry, Joplin; two sisters, Carolyn Cavener, San Antonio, Texas, Jackie Mae Riley, Joplin; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
