(From Parker Mortuary)Homer Price , age 83, of Joplin passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Mercy.
Homer was a 1956 graduate of Joplin Sr. High. He worked 18 years at the former Ozark Engineering Co. Joplin; 5 years over-the-road truck driver for CFI Joplin; 5 years at General Steel Fabricators Joplin; and Part-time local truck driver for Leggett & Platt.
He is survived by Evelyn J. Adamson, of the home, whom he married August 22, 1965. We have 2 children, Wanda L. DeWeese, Olathe, KS and husband, Tim DeWeese and Mick Price and wife Rhonda of West Plains, MO. Also, granddaughter, Erin Price-Hall and husband Colter of Bixby, OK along with great grandchildren, Austin and Maddi.
He was preceded in death by parents, James W. & Lula B. Price and brothers and sisters, Chauncy Price, Lois Campbell, Dale Price and Shirley Fox. He is loved by a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation is on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Parker Mortuary.
