(From Konantz Warden Funeral Home)Katherine Sue Dearing, 71, passed away November 11, 2021 at her home in Kansas City, MO. She was born August 9, 1950 in Lamar, MO to Junior and Dorothy Dearing. She graduated from Lamar High School with the class of 1968 and SMSU in 1972.
She served as a Reference Librarian with the Kansas City Public Library system for over 40 years before retiring.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, music and films, reading, cross stitching, stamp collecting and she loved her many cats. She was a member of the Lamar First Christian Church.
Sue is preceded in death by her father and a step brother, Don Peterson.
She is survived by her mother, brother, Gene (Tina) Dearing, and many nieces and nephews.
Final arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home and graveside services are pending.
