Linda J. Salzer, age 68 of Independence, MO, more recently of Joplin, MO, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at National Health Care in Joplin.
Linda was born in Kansas City, MO on March 27, 1948 to Harold and Mabel Seger Willimann. She graduated from Van Horn High School Independence, Mo. She spent most of her life as a waitress in various restaurants, including 8 to 10 years as a coffee hostess at the Veterans Hospital in Kansas City, MO.
Survivors include a son, Chris Salzer of Gainesville, GA; her mother, Mabel Rohlfing of Joplin, MO; sister, Fran Farley and husband Glen of Joplin; step- bother, Wayne Rohlfing of Berger, MO, and step-sisters, Cindy and Karen; Also surviving are two nephews, Nick Farley of Las Vegas, NV, and Sean Farley Independence, Mo.
Linda was preceded in death by her father.
Cremation arrangements are under the directions of Parker Mortuary.
Burial will be at a later date in Hermann, Missouri.
