Robert Lee Stiger, 88, Quapaw, Oklahoma, died February 4, 2017 at Freeman West in Joplin.
He was born April 19, 1928 in Arkansas City, Kansas, the son of Kenneth and Bessie (Brown) Stiger. He was a 1946 graduate of South Haven High School and had worked as a farmer. The joy of his life was playing the fiddle and he was known as ‘Fiddlin’ Bob’ to his friends.
Robert is survived by three children, Kenneth Stiger, Judy Stiger and Don Stiger; significant other, Donna Troutman; brother-in-law, Clarence Bahruth and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Robert is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Bahruth. Memorial services will be held Friday, February 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho.
