Chuck Newlan, 87, Neosho, died March 28, 2014, at Freeman West in Joplin after a lengthy illness. Chuck was born December 15, 1926 in Lone Elm, KS to Charles & Pearl (Bussell) Newlan. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Chuck and Shirlee Owen were married December 15, 1954 in Kansas City, MO. He and Shirlee moved to Neosho in 1976 where he owned and operated Newlan Auto Body, retiring in 1994. He was a ham radio operator.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
