Dale Leroy Bradley, age 55, of Carthage, Mo., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Dale was born August 5, 1958 in Carthage, Mo. to Doyle and Louva (Smith) Bradley.
Dale was a lifelong farmer and cattleman. He worked in the agrifeed business for more than 30 years, most recently at Tri-State Agri Services, Afton, Ok. He was a member of the Diamond Christian Church, where he served on the board and was a deacon for many years. He also served on the Diamond School Board from 1992 to 2001. He was a member of the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association. He graduated from SMSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. He enjoyed fishing, working on the farm, watching The Dukes of Hazard, and telling jokes and stories. Dale especially enjoyed the company of his family and friends. He was always ready to lend a hand and go out of his way to help anyone who needed it.
He married Deborah Patterson on August 16, 1979 at the Diamond Christian Church and she survives. He is also survived by one son; Andrew and wife Melissa, Joplin, Mo., two daughters; Alicia Ogle and husband Kyle, Nixa, Mo., Amy Bradley and boyfriend Bryce Ogle, Carthage, Mo., mother; Louva Bradley, Diamond, Mo., one brother; Jerry Bradley and wife Becky, Diamond, Mo., and many nieces and nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Bradley in 2006. Dale was a loving father, husband, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday March 5, 2014 at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary chapel, with Pastor Gary Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at the Stone Cemetery near Diamond, Mo. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the mortuary. Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
