Johnie A. Heath age 77 of Seneca, Missouri passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the Seneca House after several months of ill health.
He was born on September 5, 1936 in Cotton Hill, Missouri to Lawrence Heath and Stella Mae Robbins Heath. He was a United States Army Veteran having served his country in the Korean War. After his military service he was a truck driver.
Johnie married Corrine Braun Heath on August 8, 1955 and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Stephanie Brewer and husband Clarence of Seneca; grandchildren, Taunie Shafer and husband Ryan, Amanda Miller, Becky Brewer, Emalee Heath-Brewer, Clayton Brewer and wife Kensley, Hayden Brewer and wife Terri, Wesley Brewer and wife Miya; great grandchildren, Dominick Morris, Jami Miller, Tori Shafer, Gracelynn Brewer, and Abree Martin. Johnie was preceded in death by 3 brothers, and 1 sister. He has been taken for cremation.
The family will have a memorial service on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the Lonestar Baptist Church in Afton, Oklahoma at 2:00 PM with Pastor Brian Gibson officiating. Military rites will be held immediately following the service in the church parking lot. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Lonestar Baptist Church, 53700 East 180 Road, Afton, Oklahoma 74331 in his memory.
