Mona Marie Moore, age 73, Joplin, passed away at 5:29 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2014 at her home after a sudden illness.
She was born May 10, 1940 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to the late Roy C. Harvey and Viola May Jenkins Harvey.
She worked for 30 years in warehousing for Montgomery Ward, Inc. while living in Denver, Colorado. She then worked for Fuji Film as a processor for several years.
Mona enjoyed yard sales; flea markets and Mexican Food!
She is survived by her children, Teresa Koger, Denver, Colorado, Shane Atkins, Joplin, Shawna Maynes, Joplin; grandchildren, Timothy Koger, Brandon Koger, Torey Atkins, Kayla Cox, Craig Atkins; and several great grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends following the services at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
