Lois Jane Straughn, 80, Pineville, MO, died March 10, 2014 at Freeman Neosho Hospital, following a long illness.
Lois was born Oct. 1, 1933 in St. Louis, MO and moved to Neosho in 1970 and to Pineville in 2012. She had worked as an administrative assistant at Griffith Motors in Neosho from 1970, where she worked for several years, then worked at Whitman Trailer Sales until her retirement. Recently she had made her home with her daughters in Pineville and Carl Junction. Lois loved to knit and do crafts and was a blessing to all who knew her. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Neosho.
Lois is survived by three daughters, Cheri Straughn, Carl Junction; Mimi Badgerow, Pineville and Kimberly Ricks, Joplin; two sons, John Straughn, Neosho and Mike Straughn, Joplin; one sister, Mary Joyce Mikulas, Snohomish, WA; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
