Olive Grow

Olive L. Grow, age 70, Joplin, passed away at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at her home after a sudden illness.

Olive was born June 22, 1943 in Joplin, Missouri to the late Bill Vangel and Nadine Pauline Provins Vangel and had lived in Joplin all of her life.

She was a homemaker and attended First Gospel Workers Church.

She married Marvin C. Grow on March 27, 1956 in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 2005.

Survivors include her brother, Jim Vangel, Joplin; sister-in-law, Barbara White, Joplin; and several nieces and nephews and other extended family.

Memorial services are planned for Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Phil Erwin will officiate. The family will receive friends following the services at the mortuary.
