Billy Don Johnson, 80, Neosho, died September 7, 2016 in Joplin, Missouri.
He was born June 27, 1936 in Neosho, the son of Isaac David and Ruth E. (Liles) Johnson. Billy was a lifelong Neosho resident and had served in the Army Reserve. He had worked for Talbot Industries for over 40 years and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Billy married Linda Ann Barnett on May 18, 1959 in Miami, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on May 1, 1999. He is survived by two children, Perry Don Johnson and wife, Debbie of Carl Junction and Beth Michelle Noel of Neosho; two sisters-in-law, Pat King and Donna Davidson; two brothers-in-law, Dale Barnett and Bob Barnett; ten grandchildren, Beth Johnson Millard, Dolly Ramm, Heather McCroskey, Cassie Jonelle Noel, Drew Johnson, Corey Johnson, Renata Johnson, Jeremy Noel, Kelsey Tomlin and Nathan Noel; fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Billy is preceded in death by his parents; son, John Mark Johnson on September 7, 2003; two brothers, Denzel Johnson and Carl Johnson; sister, Thyra Hammer and son-in-law, Dayton Scott Noel.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
