Michael “Wayne” Scott, age 59 of Joplin, MO passed away Friday September 9, 2016 at the Freeman West Health System Joplin, MO.
He was born on April 15, 1957 in Wichita, Ks the son of Maurice and Joyce “Ross” Scott. Wayne worked for USF Holland INC as a truck driver. He married Jennifer Mosley on September 25, 2010 in Eureka Springs, Ar. He enjoyed fishing and boating.
Wayne is survived by his wife Jennifer of the home, three children: Maranda Scott, Caleb Scott and Bree Scott, parents Maurice and Joyce Scott, two brothers: Warren Scott and wife Charlotte of Rural Scammon, Ks and Mark Scott and wife Debbie of Wellington, Ks; a sister Janet Brooks and husband Steve of Columbus, Ks, six grandchildren: Meadow Scott, Marlow Scott Adamson, Mason Scott Adamson, Maisy Scott Adamson, Macaul Scott Adamson and Emma Scott; and father and Mother in-law Lloyd and Billie Mosley.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday September 15, 2016 at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory. Visitation will immediately follow the service at the Mortuary. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday at the New Pleasant View Cemetery Rural Scammon, Ks
