Carman Warnaca

Mrs. Carman Ann Warnaca, 65, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Freeman Hospital in Neosho, Missouri, after months of declining health.

Carman entered this life on August 7, 1951, in Baker, Oregon, born to the union of Margerie (Schon) Crosby and the late Harold Crosby. She was raised in Noel, Missouri, and was a 1969 graduate of McDonald County High School. After high school she enlisted and served her country faithfully in the United States Air Force. On September 13, 1985, she was united in marriage to Phillip Warnaca and together they have shared the last thirty-one years. She worked as a bookkeeper for Cooper Communities in Northwest Arkansas for many years. She and Phillip resided in Neosho and Joplin before moving to Noel, Missouri, in 2013. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy.

Carman is survived by her husband, Phillip Warnaca of the home; a daughter, Karla Glass and husband, James, of Pasadena, Maryland; a stepson, Phillip Ira Warnaca and wife, Colleen, of Pineville, Missouri; her mother, Margerie Greene of Noel, Missouri; a brother, Herb Crosby of Maysville, Arkansas; a half-sister, Bobbie Crosby of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside funeral services with full military honors for Mrs. Warnaca are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at the Petty Cemetery near Noel, Missouri, with Pastor Marilyn O’Brien officiating.
