Leif Elliott

Bobby Leif Elliott, age 16, received his angel wings in the early morning hours of Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016. He was surrounded by friends at the time of his passing.

Born on September 20, 1999, Leif was the beloved son of Nikki Elliott and partner, Tom Weekly of Rapid, SD and Bobby L. Elliott and partner, Star Click of Seneca, MO. Leif was also the cherished big brother to Omri Elliott, also of Seneca. Leif was a freshman in college at the National American University in Rapid City, SD. His dream was to study engineering and hold his Master’s degree by the time he was twenty-one. He was an active member of Rapid City Teen Young Life Group where he made many friends through weekly gatherings and camp. He was best known for his huge bear hugs, his loud boisterous laugh and his willingness to do for others. His huge loving heart brought joy and happiness to his friends and family and he never met a stranger. Leif enjoyed hunting, working on his pickup truck, playing baseball and hanging out with people he loved. 

 Leif is survived not only by his parents and sister, but also by maternal grandparents, Robin and Jerry Blevins of Neosho, MO and paternal grandparents, Rebecca and David Wimberly of Welch, OK. Additional survivors include maternal aunt, Hayley Vaughn and Leif’s maternal cousins, Trenton and Garrett Vaughn, all of Neosho, MO. Paternal uncles include, Bryan Elliott and wife, Faith of Welch, OK, as well as Andy Collins and wife, Becca, also of Welch, OK. Leif is also survived by paternal cousins, Shelby Elliott and Naomi Collins, both of Welch, OK.
 
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO
