Meg Webster, 68, Neosho, passed away September 1, 2016 at Freeman Hospital in Neosho, following a three month illness.
She was born March 24, 1948 in Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of Carl and Helen (Prater) McRoberts. Meg was a lifelong Neosho resident, and had worked as the activity director for the Neosho Senior Center and as a childcare worker for the YMCA. She was an avid artist and floral designer, and enjoyed caring for children.
Meg married Dan Webster on December 2, 1972 in Miami, Oklahoma and he survives. Also surviving are two children, Mia Denman and fiancé, Steve Nokes of Joplin and Barb Van Slyke and husband, Richard of Bonaire, GA; two grandchildren, Natalie Van Slyke and William Van Slyke, two brothers, Bob McRoberts and wife, Linda of Oklahoma City, OK and Jim McRoberts of the Philippines. Meg is preceded in death by her parents.
