Wilma Wyant

Wilma Dell Wyant, age 76, Joplin, Mo., passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at her home, following an illness.

Wilma was born on April 16, 1940 in Dodge City, Ks. The daughter of the late Raleigh and Viola (Coss) Wyant. She was a triplet. She has worked as an L.P.N. for over forty years, much of the time was alongside her sister Vera Kathleen. She worked in the E.R. at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Co. which included being a flight nurse. She spent a short time visiting and helping Missionaries in Turkey and the Philippines. She was a member of Park Plaza Christian Church.

She is survived by three sisters, her triplets, Kathleen Wyant, Joplin and Roberta Casady, Liberal, Ks., and Margaret Ann Kastendieck, Joplin; her cousins, Marjorie Stockam and husband Jim, Mary Sue Gordon and husband Ray, and John Lawhorn and wife Pat; two nephews, Dr. Roger L. Casady, and Dwayne A. Casady.

A reception and visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Park Plaza Christian Church.
Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City, Ks.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
