Mary Anne Hill

Mary Anne Hill, 80, of Fairview, Missouri, died Sept. 22, 2016 at her home, following an illness. 

Mary Anne was born April 19, 1936 in Neosho, the daughter of Bryan and Opal (Eller) Kruse. She was a lifelong area resident and had owned and operated a resale shop in Fairview. Mary Anne enjoyed quilting and bowling and had cooked and served at the 4 B’s and at fundraisers for the Fairview Fire Department. She was a member of TOPS and of the First Baptist Church in Fairview. 

Mary Anne and Frank X. Hill were married on Jan. 7, 1972 in Duenweg, Missouri and he preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 2004. She is survived by a daughter, Michelle Himmerich of Granby; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jason Newman, Jenifer Newman, Brisun Long, Michael Long and Phischer Long and three brothers, James Kruse and wife, Clista and Joe Kruse and wife, Ann of Neosho and Carl Lee Kruse and wife, Betty of Fairview. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Imogene Duke and brother, Curtis Kruse. Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Granby, MO.
