Lisa Faulkner

Lisa J. Faulkner, age 61, of Springfield, Mo., passed away on Tuesday September 6, 2016, at Cox South, following an illness. 

Lisa was born on August 13, 1955 in Joplin, the daughter of Clyde and Lucille (Shirfield) Ball. She married Teddy Faulkner on May 25, 1978 in Miami, Ok., together they raised one son. While living in Joplin she worked as a bus driver for Joplin Schools. She has lived in Springfield for the past twelve years. She was a member of Praise Assembly in Springfield.

She is survived by her husband Teddy Faulkner, Springfield, Mo., one son Joshua Faulkner and his wife Wendy, Forsyth, Mo.; two brothers, Gary Ball, Sr. and his wife Greta, Granby, Mo., and Larry Ball, Joplin; two grandchildren, Kloey and Tyler. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie and Donnie Ball; and one sister, Linda Boles.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Pastor Alan Beauchamp will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Joshua Faulkner, Darwin Coleman, Gary Ball, Sr., Nathan Lassiter, Gary Ball, Jr., and Larry Ball.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Mason-Woodard Chapel.
