Charlotte Rose Taylor, age 90, lifelong resident of Joplin, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016.
Charlotte was born April 20, 1926 in the Tanyard Hollar area of Joplin, and spent her childhood in this community. She married Calvin L. Taylor on May 28, 1949, and was a stay at home mom taking care of her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin, on July 26, 2002; and brothers, Jack Tucker and Albert Tucker.
Survivors include her children, Steven L. Taylor and Pat Ingle both of Joplin; seven grandchildren, Pete Taylor, Tiffany Gray, Marci Sosa-Veallez, Tim Begley, David Baldwin, Robert Baldwin, and Daun Myers; 13 great-grandchildren, Byron, Harley, Chelsea, Josiah, Sarinity, Alysia, Kyle, Haley, Jacob, Corenthian, Malachi, Kayla, and Cody.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary with inurnment of her ashes at a later date in Osborne Memorial Cemetery.
