Dale Gene Williams, 66 years, of Goodman, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at the Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Dale was born on June 14, 1950 in Stella, Missouri to the late Vergil A. and Naomi B. (Lawrence) Williams. He lived on the farm he grew up on in the Bethpage Community until 2012 when he moved to Goodman, Missouri. Dale graduated from the McDonald County High School in 1968. He worked at the Wal-Mart Warehouse in Bentonville, Arkansas for 25 years, retiring in 2012.
Dale is survived by two brothers, Vergil L. Williams and wife, Betty of Anderson, Missouri, Danny Williams of Neosho, Missouri; four sisters, Connie Burns and husband, Joe of Anderson, Missouri, Edith Kimbrough and Danny Duncan of Jasper, Missouri, Donna Brattin and husband, Alan of Wheaton, Missouri, Mary Banks and husband, Ervin of Goodman, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews; a good friend, Charity Mayfield and family of Neola, Utah; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss Dale.
Memorial services for Mr. Williams will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 16, 2016 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Reverend Marilyn O'Brien will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Friday, September 16, 2016 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark funeral homes. The family will receive friends at this time.
