Don Law

Donald R. Law, age 86, Grove, Oklahoma, passed away at 12:01 a.m. Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness.

Don was born July 28, 1930 in Kiowa, Kansas to the late Everett Law and Letty Barker Law and had lived in Grove for many years.

He worked as an auto mechanic and cattle farmer for many years. Don was a minister of the Assembly of God faith and retired after many years of faithful service. He was a former member of the Tri-State Roundup Club and served his country during the Korean War as a member of the United States Army.

Don married Alice Lane on February 25, 1953 in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas. She survives at the home.

Additional survivors include his children, Mark Law and Bryan Law, both of Grove, Shari Brodie, Neosho; siblings, Mary, Onie, Jake, Gene; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several extended family members.

Memorial services are planned for Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God in Grove. The family will receive friends following the services at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
