Mary Carden

Mary Katherine Carden, 79, Stella, went to meet her Lord and Savior on September 17, 2016 from complications during her battle with cancer. 

 She was born on September 5, 1937 to Truman and Viva Young. Mary graduated from Granby High School in 1955 and was united in marriage to Glenn Carden on August 28, 1955 in Neosho. Three children were born to that union. Clifford Allen Carden welcomed his mother in heaven. Mary is survived by her husband, Glenn Carden; son, Curtis Carden and wife, Cheryl of Stella, MO and daughter, Pamela Lynn and husband, Mike of Neosho, MO; six grandchildren, Justin Baker of Neosho, MO; Jacob Carden of Purdy, MO, Lucas Carden of Columbia, MO, Khristi Auch of Neosho, MO, Josh Wimpey of Joplin, MO and Tanya Lewis of Goodman, MO, along with sisters, Edna Ferguson, Marie Popejoy and brother, Bill Young and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

 Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty Cargile, Sharon Kay Yetter and Carolyn Sue Young and brothers, Leon and Richard Young. Mary was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
