Patricia Ann LaFave, 65 of Joplin, passed away on September 15, 2016 at Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Missouri following a short illness.
Patricia was born October 9, 1950 in Fresno, California to the late Ben Tompkins and Mary Perkoeich Tompkins. She graduated from Miami High School, Miami, Oklahoma with the class of 1968. Patricia was a homemaker all of her life, doing her very best to take great care of her family.
On April 23, 1971, Patricia married Robert Neil LaFave in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 16, 1976. Additionally, all of Patricia's siblings precede her in death as well.
Surviving Patricia are two daughters, Lori LaFave and fiance', Justin Barclay of Claremore, Oklahoma and Patty Boyd and husband, Richard of Joplin; grandchildren, K.C. Barclay and Brandi Barclay; great grandchildren, Carter and Cashion; honorary grandchild, Haven.
A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Impact Life Church, Joplin. Howie Nunnelly, officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
