(From Parker Mortuary)Kevin Wayne Coss, 56, of Diamond, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021 at his home.
Kevin was born September 3, 1965 in Limestone, Maine, to Verlie Wayne and Karen (Damer) Coss. When Kevin was young his family moved to Diamond, Missouri where he graduated in 1983 from Diamond High School. After high school Kevin attended the University of North Texas. Kevin worked for CFI for 15 years before starting his own business Nighthawk Design.
Kevin was very gifted in the ability to fix or build anything. Taking on projects that others would not. He had a great love for boating whether it was building, fixing or working on them. At one point Kevin was part of an off shore boat racing team, something he truly enjoyed. Kevin loved the outdoors, target shooting and snow skiing in Colorado. But above everything he had a huge heart, and was willing to help when someone was in need. Family was everything to Kevin and he cherished the time spent and memories created with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Kevin was preceded in death by his mother Karen Coss.
Kevin is lovingly survived by his father, Verlie Coss and wife, Linda; sister Kerri Trainor-Mason and husband, Kent; nephew, Kenley Trainor; niece, Klaire Trainor; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
