(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Everett Wayne Goade, age 82, of Duenweg, Mo., passed away on October 8, 2021, at his home, following a short illness.
Everett was born on August 30, 1939 in Duenweg, Mo, the son of the late Edgar and Leatha (Erickson) Goade. He has been a lifetime area resident.
He graduated from Duenweg High School in 1958. He served in the United States Navy from 1958-1961.
He worked at ICI Explosives as a Production Supervisor. He was a member of the Joplin Shrine Club and was also a member of Webb City Lodge #512 AF-AM where he was a 32nd degree Mason. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, woodworking, teaching his grandsons about life, spending time with family and friends at Sugar Island.
He married Linda Townsend on June 23, 1961, and she preceded him in death January 7, 2018. He is survived by his son, Marty Goade and wife Kristie, Joplin; a daughter, Jennifer Goade Baker, Washington, Mo.; three grandchildren, Alex Baker and fiance Katelyn Rabaduex, Andrew Baker, and Jake Goade and girlfriend Shelby Cole; one great-grandson Jackson Baker; two sisters, Carolyn Johnson and Faye Farris. He was preceded in death by one brother Albert Wolfe; and one sister Eva Cupp.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday prior to the service. Randy Coleman, Minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to The Shriner's Children's Hospital in care of the mortuary.
