(From Simpson Funeral Home)Bernice (Divine) Eden age 100 of Webb City, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Foxberry Terrace. She was born in Milo, Missouri to Loyd Fenton and Dollie (Harper) Fenton on December 20, 1920.
Bernice retired from the Webb City School District where she worked as a bus driver and also in the lunch room.
She is survived by her sons, Jack Divine and wife Sallie of Neosho, Missouri, Erran Divine of Webb City, Missouri, Claude Divine and wife Judy of Diamond, Missouri; 12 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, Claude Divine and James Eden; 5 siblings, and 2 grandsons; and a daughter in law, Judy K. Divine.
The family will be present for a visitation on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM in Carterville Cemetery with Clem Graham officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Perseverance ATA Lodge #160, 6258 County Road 188, Webb City, Missouri 64870.
