Eileen Aga

Eileen Mary Aga, 82, of Pierce City, Missouri was called home to Heaven on Saturday October 9, 2021 while at Lawrence County Manor in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. She was born in Iowa Falls, Iowa on April 12, 1939; the daughter of the late Bert and Beulah (Brown) Hensing. 

She was united in marriage to James Aga; to this union four children were born: Jim, Joe, Marianne and Ashley.

She attended college in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and then started her teaching career at the Ellsworth Air Force Base where she met her husband, James. 








After they were married, she worked for the McAuley High School in Joplin, Missouri before moving to Pierce City where she taught Special Education at the Elementary School until she retired. She was also a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett.

Eileen is survived by two sons: Jim Aga and his wife Kathy of Pierce City and Joe Aga and his wife Mary of Monett; one daughter: Marianne Bull and her husband Brian of Willard, Missouri; one brother: Artie Hensing; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bert and Beulah; husband James; one daughter: Ashley Aga-Shaner (who lost her battle with MS in 2011); and one brother: Johnny Hensing.

Private memorial services are being held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
